Utah Indie Game Night

We held another Indie Game Night at Wahoo's offices in Orem, Utah last night. The Rampant Coyote (Jay Barnson) wrote about it in detail on his blog. It was a fun night of wandering around talking, and watching demos of games in progress. I was talking with the Cavebug guys (Josh and Brad) about their game Pathstorm, and about my current work on Fish School 2.

They were about to leave toward the end of the evening, but stuck around long enough for me to demo the latest spit and polish on my game. Still too much spit, and not enough polish, by the way. It's a good thing I talked to them. One of them, Brad I think, came up with the perfect name for the introductory tutorial levels: Pre-School.

They have another game in the works to add to their portfolio, but aren't ready to release any details on it yet.

First things first

I've been discovering interesting things about Blogger. First, they have this really neat drag and drop blog editor that has lots of cool features. (woo!) Second, you can't use it if you use FTP to publish a blog to your own domain. (sigh)

I'll be working to make the blog look more like my site over time, so don't get too attached to the plain and icky layout. :)
